This privacy policy aims to give you information about how your personal data is collected and processed by this website.

This website is owned and operated by Gabriella Marsden. 

I am committed to protecting your privacy and will ensure that any information obtained will always be processed and transferred in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

What information is collected

The types of personal information collected or submitted by this website are:

1. Email Address

This is the email you provide if you subscribe to Women's Society's mailing list. This data is held indefinitely. However, you may unsubscribe from this list at any point by following the link at the bottom of any email you receive from me.

Mailing list subscriptions are maintained by Wix in a contacts list within the server and is accessed only by the owner of this domain and will not be shared with any third parties. You can view Wix's privacy policy here.

2. Comments

When you leave a comment on a blog post, the data shown in the comments form, including your name (this could be a non-identifiable first/last name, alias or initial) and email address is collected to help detect spam. This data is held indefinitely. It is also held so comments can be approved and replied too. This data is not processed further and is stored within the Wix database.

3. Google Analytics and Cookies

Google Analytics is used to analyse and track the website usage. Google uses 'cookies', to collect statistical and other information in an anonymous form. Women's Society does not personally hold or process this data. Google's privacy policy can be found here.

4. Competitions

Full name and address details of any competition winners submitted to any competition ran as part of the business will be deleted within 10 days of confirmation of receipt of prize.

5. Embedded Content

Embedded content, including images and videos from other websites may be included in this website. When clicking on this content and visiting the parent website, these websites may also collect data, use cookies, embed additional third party tracking and monitor your interactions.
